Tapalma 2026: A Concrete Guide to Palma's Best Tapas Route
Experience the Tapalma 2026 Route! From 4 to 8 November, 37 bars and restaurants across Palma serve their competition tapas to the public. Here is everything you need to know to plan your tapas crawl.
When and Where: Essential Dates and Locations
1. The Professional Tapas Competition (The Judging).
When: Monday, 2 November
Where: Palau de Congressos (Palma Convention Center), host of the competition for the ninth year running. A jury of renowned chefs and bartenders picks the winners the same day. This part is generally closed to the public.
2. The Public Tapalma Route (The Tapas Tasting)
This is where the magic happens and where you can savor the competition’s tapas.
When: From Wednesday 4th until Sunday 8th November

Tapa Categories 2026
These are the two tapa categories of this year's competition, highlighting local produce. Each one awards gold, silver and bronze prizes.
Tapa TaPalma 2026
The main category that rewards the creativity, technique, and presentation of the route's most innovative tapa.
Tapa Sobrassada de Mallorca IGP 2026
A thematic category dedicated to Mallorca's star product, judging the masterful use of Sobrassada de Mallorca IGP in a tapa.
A Taste of Sóller on the Route
Coming from the valley? Several tapas this year have a Sóller accent:
- Can Frasquet (Orfila, 4): Saquitos de gambas de Sóller
- Cafetería Jose's (Bartomeu Sureda i Miserol, 3): Bao Solleric
- La Barra de Bendita (Bonaire, 5): plantain coca with sobrassada, Mahón cheese and Sóller honey
