The MUCBO (Fundació Jardí Botànic de Sóller – Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences) is a pioneering institution in the Balearic Islands dedicated to research, conservation, dissemination, and environmental education, with over 30 years of history. The entity is divided into two main sections: the Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences, which hosts permanent exhibitions on geology, paleontology, and current biodiversity; and the Sóller Botanical Garden, which includes a living plant exhibition, a herbarium, and a germplasm bank. Additionally, the MUCBO organizes workshops, conferences, and school visits on various topics related to Natural Sciences in the Balearic Islands. This extensive experience establishes MUCBO as a reference entity in the Balearic Islands for the conservation, dissemination, and study of the nature that surrounds us.
