Also known as Casa Magraner, an imposing work of modernist architecture that houses the hotel, was commissioned by Joan Magraner and opened in 1911. Although it has not been confirmed with certainty who the architect was, there are strong indications that it may have been the work of Joan Rubió y Bellver, a disciple of Gaudí.
