The beaches near Sóller, on the picturesque island of Mallorca, are true treasures in the Mediterranean that captivate travellers with their crystal clear waters, breathtaking scenery and serene atmosphere. These beaches offer a unique and special experience, from breathtaking natural landscapes to the opportunity to enjoy the sun and the sea.
Playa de Port de Sóller, the closest jewel to Sóller, is ideal for families and those who want comfort. Surrounded by restaurants and bars, it offers the opportunity to enjoy the sun while savouring local delicacies. In high season you will find sun loungers and parasols for hire on the beach. There are two main car parks in the Port of Sóller, the Lepanto car park and the Sa Torre car park, both of which are pay and display facilities.

An hour’s drive from Sóller is Cala Tuent, a dreamy natural getaway with its small pebble beach and crystal clear waters. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it offers a secluded and peaceful atmosphere. If you do not wish to go by car, you can also go by ferry, departing from the port of Sóller, with the company Barcos Azules.
In Cala Tuent there is only one restaurant, Es Vergeret, perched above the beach, which you can walk up. We recommend having lunch there with views over the beach and the mountains.
About 30 minutes drive from Sóller, you will find Cala Deià, famous for its scenic beauty. Its clear waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The nearby village of Deià offers exceptional gastronomic options to enjoy after a day of sun and sea.
In the Cala de Deià you will find a small car park (for a fee), which fills up very quickly, so if you can’t find parking, you can park in the village and walk down. The walk takes about 20 minutes.
There you will find two restaurants, Ca’s Patro March and Can Lluc. The former is internationally known for having appeared in TV series and films, as well as advertisements. We recommend booking well in advance.
About 40 minutes drive from Sóller, you will find Es Port des Canonge, a rocky beach nestled in a charming coastal village. Here, you can experience the serenity of the sea while exploring the picturesque surroundings and enjoying the peace that this corner offers.
In Es Port des Canonge you will find bars and restaurants, however, our recommendation is Can Toni Moreno, known for its paellas and fideuás.
If you are willing to drive about an hour from Sóller, you will be rewarded with one of the most unique beaches on the island, Cala Sa Calobra. It is located in a steep gorge and offers blue waters in a spectacular setting. If you do not wish to go by car, you can go by ferry from the Port of Sóller with the company Barcos Azules.
There you will find the beginning of a very beautiful and dangerous excursion, Es Torrent de Pareis. It is recommended to do this excursion very early in the morning, starting around 5 or 6 a.m., so that you do not arrive at the peak hours of the sun and always accompanied by a resident guide with knowledge of it.
Near Deià, the small beach of Llucalcari is a true oasis of tranquility. Surrounded by cliffs and lush vegetation, it is a lovely place to swim and explore. Each of these beaches offers a unique and special experience, making a stay in Sóller an unforgettable experience in beautiful Mallorca.
For parking there is no parking lot as such, so you will have to park along the roadside. Once parked, you will have to walk down a path, so we recommend not to go to the area with children or elderly people, as there are slightly steep areas.
