BUTXET
Our winery is located in the industrial estate 12, plot 565 of Muro, on the Son Morei estate, right at the vineyard’s edge.
It is situated just 800 meters from the start of the Albufera de Muro natural park, and about 4 kilometers from the sea, from Platja de Muro.
We produce red, white, and rosé wines, all made from grapes sourced from our own vineyards.
We work with international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Chardonnay, as well as indigenous varieties like Giro Ros, Premsal, Mantonegro, Callet, and Escursac.
All these are planted in various plots according to the soil and microclimate of each parcel.
This results in a diverse range of wines, greatly influenced by their location, as they are situated just a few meters from the Albufera de Muro and near the sea, giving the wines a special uniqueness.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
You will start this experience by visiting part of the vineyards and discovering curiosities about the area where the winery is located. Then, you will be able to see and learn about the winemaking process. The tour will end with a tasting of 5 wines accompanied by two typical Mallorcan tapas. It is a family business located in the northern part of Mallorca, right behind the Albufera Natural Park. Since the grapes are cultivated almost at sea level, the wines produced have unique and easy-to-drink qualities.
In our wineries, you will explore vineyards with both local and international grape varieties that have been recognized with several national and international awards thanks to the hard work and commitment of their caretakers. The visit to the winery combines ideal characteristics as it mixes the good climate with the richness of Mallorcan wine in a truly incomparable and passionate way. We make wines with a lot of personality, making your visit something unique.
