Mesquida Mora Cellar

Located in Porreres, in the heart of Mallorca, Bodega Mesquida Mora is a benchmark in the production of biodynamic wines that capture the essence of the island. Founded in 2012 by Bàrbara Mesquida Mora, the fourth generation of a winemaking family, the winery combines traditional techniques with sustainable agricultural practices to create high-quality wines. Philosophy and Agricultural Practices

The winery stands out for its commitment to biodynamic and regenerative agriculture, always seeking a harmonious dialogue with nature. This approach includes cover cropping, compost application, and biodynamic preparations, as well as the use of herbal infusions to nourish the vineyards. These practices not only enhance soil health but also promote biodiversity within the vineyards.

WINES AND TAPAS IN THE WINERY

A visit for freely discovering the garden, the animals and the biodynamic estate project. A more informal visit for all publics to experience at first hand the everyday workings of the winery. Visit to the winery and wine-tasting session accompanied by biscuits and an assortment of cheeses.

TECHNICAL VISIT TO THE VINEYARDS AND THE WINERY

This visit brings you close to the heart of the winery, to study the vines, our biodynamic techniques and the wines that rest in their vats and casks. A visit for journeying through the past, present and future of the company’s wines, and for tasting the wines that have not yet entered the market and those that already have, accompanied by locally-made biscuits and an assortment of cheeses.

VISIT TO THE SON PORQUER VINEYARDS WITH WINE-TASTING SESSION AND LOCAL FOOD AT THE MILL

A time for sharing the personal project as a life philosophy, to talk about biodynamicsviticulture, respect for the land and an agro-ecological future. Held alongside the Son Porquer mill, a unique construction completed in the year 1850, and continuing with a taste of the wines accompanied by a selection of zero-kilometre ecological products: meat and chick-pea pasties, vegetable and pepper flatbreads, bread with olive oil, local sausages and cheeses and almond cake.

VISIT TO THE SON PORQUER VINEYARDS WITH WINE-TASTING SESSION AND LOCAL FOOD

This proposal means not only sharing a while to talk about the personal project as a life philosophy but also taking a wonderful stroll around the unique setting of the Son Porquer mill and its surrounding vineyards. They set a table beside the vines, or inside the mill dating from 1850, to savour the wines with a detailed description of each one, accompanied by local products. You will leave  with a satisfied stomach and a global vision of the true rural life of inland Mallorca.

 

Including: pasties, pepper flatbread, bread with tomato, olives and sea fennel, assortment of local cheeses and sausages, garden salad, a seasonal hot dish, seasonal fruit and almond cake.
