Current situation

Yes, we know: finding a parking spot in Deià can feel like a mission impossible. It’s one of Mallorca’s most beautiful villages, but its popularity and narrow geography make parking a real challenge.

To ensure your visit is stress-free, follow these local recommendations:

  • Understanding the ORA Zones: Most parking within the village is regulated (blue lines). You must pay at the ticket machines. Be aware that during peak season, these spots fill up by 10:30 AM.
  • The Main Public Lots: There is a parking area at the entrance (coming from Valldemossa) and another near the upper part of the village. If you see a “Parking Full” sign at the entrance, don’t drive in circles; it’s better to wait or try the bus.
  • Cala Deià Access:  There is a paid parking at the beach of Deià, but is quite small (50 spots), so be sure you arrive early (very early). In Summer is very probable the access is restricted if is complete, from 11:00 – 16:00. The road down to the beach is extremely narrow.
  • The Local Secret: Park or stay in Sóller, using our hotel discount codes. Take the 203 Bus. It drops you right in the center of Deià in 20 minutes, saving you the headache of driving and paying for parking. Plus, the views from the bus window are spectacular!
