Cap de Formentor is one of Mallorca’s most spectacular natural landmarks. During the busy summer season, the L334 TIB shuttle bus is the best way to get there without a car. It runs between Alcúdia, Port de Pollença, Formentor Beach, and Formentor Lighthouse.
Getting There Between June and September
From June 1 to September 30, private car access is restricted from 10:00 to 22:30 to protect the environment and avoid traffic congestion.
How to Visit in Summer
You must use the TIB Line 334 shuttle bus, which connects:
- Alcúdia → Port de Pollença → Formentor Beach → Cap de Formentor Lighthouse
Timetable:
- Operates daily from around 9:30 AM to 9:50 PM
- Buses run every 35–60 minutes
Tickets:
- Prices range from €1.80 to €6, depending on distance and payment method
- Available via the TIB website or mobile app
Only exceptions: Guests staying in Formentor hotels or visitors on motorcycles.
Getting There from October to May
From October 1 to May 31, the road to Cap de Formentor is fully open to the public, and you can drive without any restrictions.
